At Cognigy, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that personal data (“Data”) is handled in a secure and responsible manner. These Cognigy.AI Additional Data Privacy Terms ("Terms") provide further details on how Data is being processed when you enable certain features of Cognigy.AI which make use of services provided by third parties (“Third-Party Service Providers”).

By using these features, you agree to these Terms, which are supplementary to any data privacy agreement, general terms of use or other agreements you may have entered into with Cognigy.

Cognigy.AI Additional Data Privacy Terms

1. Data Processing

You acknowledge and agree that we may share the Data with Third-Party Service Providers to enable the provision of specific features. These Third-Party Service Providers are required to process the Data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, and in accordance with their respective privacy policies as listed in Section 4 below.

2. Types of Data Processed

When you use these features, the following types of Data may be processed:
- Content Data: Data included in documents or Data you otherwise upload for processing.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The Data will solely be used for the provisioning of the feature and no other purpose.

4. Data Sharing and Transfers

The Data may be shared with one or more of the following Third-Party Service Providers for the purpose of providing the relevant features. Each Third-Party Service Provider's data privacy policy is linked below:

This list may be updated from time to time as new features are added or Third-Party Service Providers are changed.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and secure data storage. For more information on which measures the Third-Party Service Providers apply please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We and the Third-Party Service Providers will retain the Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in these Terms or as required by law. Once the Data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted.
