Schwarz IT is equipping Lidl employees with headsets to enhance internal communication. Employees can connect with a digital voice agent, Lidl Instore Voice Assistant (LIVA), through these headsets. By using voice commands, they can quickly access information such as product details or stock levels and perform tasks like opening or closing tills. The digital assistant is powered by an AI Agent built on Cognigy, which supplies the necessary information and carries out actions through various interfaces. This significantly reduces the distance employees need to travel within the stores.
